COMMON DIRECT TO FILM FAQ'S

Why Direct To Film?

One of the main benefits of direct-to-film printing is its ability to produce high-quality, detailed prints with crisp lines and fine detail. This is because the image is transferred directly onto the film, without any loss of resolution or detail that can occur when using an intermediate negative or film.

Direct-to-film printing allows for greater creative control over the final print, as adjustments to the image can be made more easily. This allows for greater experimentation and flexibility in the printing process, which can lead to more unique and personalized prints.

How does DTF printing work?

DTF printing works by printing the desired design onto a special transfer film using a specialized DTF printer. The ink used in DTF printing is then transferred onto the fabric using a heat press machine, which applies heat and pressure to the transfer film, causing the ink to transfer onto the fabric. Once the ink has been transferred, the transfer film is removed, leaving behind a high-quality, full-color design on the fabric.

What kind of ink is used in DTF printing?

DTF ink is a type of specialized ink that is used in DTF printing. This ink is designed to work with the transfer film used in DTF printing and is formulated to produce high-quality, vibrant prints on fabric.
